Now Micro Launches Right Click Tools 2.1 for System Center ConfigMgr 2012

The Now Micro Right Click Tools 2.1 is Now Available and Free to Download.

Now Micro’s Systems Consultant, Ryan Ephgrave, released a new version of the Now Micro Right Click Tools for System Center Configuration Manager 2012 on May 15, 2014.

The main goal for this update was to make the collection of tools faster. Not only does this latest version include new features and bug fixes, but performance has increased 20-fold! Some of the new features added to this release include advanced show collections, additional columns, and bug fixes.

Advanced Show Collections
The Now Micro Right Click Tools v2.1 expanded on two tools. The Show Collections is now Show Collections Advanced and includes

  1. Maintenance Windows
  2. Collection Variables
  3. Power Plans

Additional Columns
System Information now allows for the choice of columns. A helpful tooltip appears to assist the user. New columns available include

  • Cache Path
  • Cache Size (MB)
  • Cache Used (MB)
  • % Cache Used
  • % Cache Available
  • Model
  • Site Code
  • Computer Name
  • Client Version
  • Operating System
  • Console User
  • Domain
  • IP Address
  • On/Off
  • Last Hardware Inventory Cycle (when it was run on the machine)
  • Last Restart Time
  • Last Software Inventory Cycle
  • MAC Address
  • Last Hardware Inventory Report (when it was reported to the server)
  • Pending Restart

Bug Fixes
The Now Micro Right Click Tools v2.1 also includes the following bug fixes:

  • Fixed problem where collections with 2000+ computers didn’t display all of them.
  • Fixed refresh in the Security Groups Tool
  • Installer checks for .NET 4.5 and Powershell 3
